![]() One can access an arsenal of ranged weapons, and not using them would be ill-advised. (2) To stay factionless for a long time, possibly not join any faction since this has been made possible in ELEX II.Ĭuriously, (1) was brought to an end due to encountering flying and jumping creatures. Two goals I've had for my first playthrough: (1) To focus on melee combat and trophies. Originally posted by katzenkrimis:I've been sinking points into attributes depending on what I discover on the map and how the story unfolds. The first ever Tomb raider game was ahead of its time and outstanding for what it was. Then I liked the second one but far less then really lost interest during the third one onwards. I only liked the massive hit Tomb Raider 1 Playstation game many years ago. Originally posted by katzenkrimis:The new Tomb Raider games are garbage. It's not as twisted as Wasteland III, but it does have its moments. I knew it would be corny, but there are some funny lines of dialogue. ![]() I've never played a game that way, ever.Īlso, I've been surprised by the writing in certain areas. I've been sinking points into attributes depending on what I discover on the map and how the story unfolds. ![]() It's fun because what I had planned in my head for a character build has not turned out that way at all. With some surprise quests sprinkled in every now and then. That's what Uncharted is all about.Īs for Elex II, yes, it's a very fun game.Ģ2 hours in and I'm still doing nothing but exploring, fighting and dying. It's so over-the-top insane, that not even Tomb Raider could copy it in their wildest dreams. Yes, it's cheese, but that action in the later part of the film perfectly captures and defines the video game series. Speaking of which, have you seen the new Tom Holland-Mark Wahlberg Uncharted film? From the climbing, to the visuals, to the extravagant and death-defying stunts. Everything that game does is the poor man's version of Uncharted. They basically tried to copy Uncharted, but failed. Mind you I was heavily influenced by games like the original Tomb Raider game on Playstation so if you understand the appeal of that game then it would not be a stretch to get why I like the Piranha Bytes games.Īdventure and Awe are my favourite things. We look past flaws and so forth because on the big scale of things the immersion into their fantasy worlds is really satisfying. The best thing I and others like me get out of the Piranha Bytes games is the immersion the exploration the soundtrack the levelling up and the feeling one gets when they become all powerful and of course the replayability. But to a Dark Souls Fan they are the bees knees. What annoys me is there is no love and passion in the dark souls games they are bleak and boring and have really crappy rewards systems and are very strange to me. I mean just look at Elden Ring where upon release it has an insane bug where the enemies and even your horse become invisible. If it was awful games I wouldn't spend many many hours playing it. Most people always ask for so much and yet the truest of the true fans enjoy whatever they bring to the table.
